The news comes to us from the group of investigation Biological Treatment of Residues (integrated to the group of the Andalusian Plan of Investigation TEP-181) of the University of Cadiz.
this group is carrying out a study that chases the target to obtain a biogas rich in hydrogen from organic rests of the garbage.
The investigation belongs to the Project of Excellency of the Together Production and valuation of biohydrogen from solid urban residues, which is coordinated by the teacher Luis Isidoro Romero García of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Technology of the Food and environmental Technologies.
These students investigate on the application of a set of microbiological and physicist - chemist processes to obtain the transformation of the organic remains contained in the garbage to generate a biogas rich in hydrogen.
As he has explained himself, this biogas might be promote energetically across his use in batteries of fuel, with the consequent benefit for the proper protection of the environment.
